When designing a new piece, we go a long way to source materials that are exactly right. Whether that&rsquo;s upholstery fabric, metal, stone or wood, we look to the people who know the material best to turn it into a finished piece, giving us expertly crafted pieces that you won&rsquo;t find anywhere but your home.&nbsp;

Our carpenters, upholsterers and stone workers use traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations of Portuguese artisans and we invest in state-of-the-art technology to ensure each piece is exquisite to look at and a treat to use.&nbsp;

Why stop at exquisite when you could achieve perfection? Our unique approach to interiors allows you to take one of our pieces and make it entirely your own. Be it a chair, sofa or side table, you can reimagine our designs by choosing from a wealth of fabrics, metals, woods and stone and modifying to the colour palette. This gives you the utmost freedom to play with your design and achieve the interior of your dream.&nbsp;

If there’s one thing we love at FRATO, it’s a decadent detail. We’re talking about the smaller accents - that might even go unnoticed but make a piece iconic. This week, we’re taking a closer look at our new-season decor and shining a light on the details that make them masterpieces.

AN EYE FOR DETAIL

We think that the right texture can bring a piece to life. Take our BURGOS Stool for example, here, we&rsquo;ve chosen to finish it in a tufted fabric for a rustic edge. The SPLIT Bed has an encompassing headboard that can be finished in a fabric of your choice, we&rsquo;ve chosen soft, structured linen to bring a fresh touch to the bedroom.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
And how about the CARMEL Bed? It blends a rich fabric and leather for an ultra-modern feel.&nbsp;
&nbsp;

ACCENTS
When it comes to accents, we adore brushed brass. We had local artisans polish up the brass accents of our TAIPEI Sideboard to give it a luxurious appeal. Set into the grooves of the cupboard door, too, these golden highlights add an elevated touch to the retro-inspired design. Aside from brushed brass, you can see leather and fabric accents across our new-season collection.

FINISHES
Of course, at Frato, you can choose 100s of ways to finish a piece and make it completely your own. This time, we&rsquo;ve added a black stone panel to our ATLANTA Coffee Table. Contrasting the table top, it gives the entire design a futuristic appeal. Prefer marble? Look to our BERLIN Side Tables. The marbled tops bring a note of elegance to your seating nook.&nbsp;
