It’s the time of year when we’re reaching for our passports and opening our suitcases. After a long period of being prevented from travelling, we see the world opening up again and inspiration from all corners of the globe seeping back into our lives.
With this in mind, we’ve decided to spotlight some of our favourite destinations and the pieces they’ve inspired.
Italy is one of our favourite countries to look to when we need fresh ideas for designs. Our TRENTO Dining Table was inspired by the city it takes its name. Just like the streets teeming with Renaissance architecture, this table demands attention. We’ve also looked to the serene city of Como to inspire a family of sofas and armchairs that invite you to relax and unwind.
Our tour also takes us to Spain, where we draw inspiration from sunny Cádiz. Our CADIZ tables are cool in their simplicity and finished in neutral hues that draw us back to the Spanish city’s Moorish architecture.
Leaving Europe behind, we look to Japanese minimalism. We designed our OKAYAMA Console to bring calm to any space. Its distinguished curves and satin finish bring a simple yet elegant finish that touches on modern Japanese design.
And who could forget a trip to the USA? Our PORTLAND series takes inspiration from the leafy city. The lamps combine straight lines and natural finishes that hark back to Portland’s eclectic coffee and brewery scene.
