Creativity

No matter whether you’re starting with a blank canvas or revamping a space unless you are an interiors pro, concepting your dream scheme can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to demystify the interior design process, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our best practices and ideas on how to begin piecing a look together. In this spirit, we’re going to take you on a creative journey, revealing how four different style boards, each highlighting specific furniture, accessories, materials and colours, transformed into a unique concept.

Tranquil Office

For this space, we set ourselves the challenge of creating an office that felt both tranquil and atmospheric. Opting for a colour palette rich in emerald greens, we selected a series of Orientally influenced pieces – including the BALI desk, HANOI floor lamps, EUGENE side table and KOCHI dining chairs – customised with dark, exotic woods and polished steel. Finally, a symmetrical layout adds to the sense of harmony.

Country Modern Living Room

Sometimes we create a look around a central piece of furniture. In this instance, our starting point was the modular MILAN sofa. A large, deep-seated design, we decided to offset its clean lines with a series of neat, curvilinear pieces, including the LUCERNE armchair, PRAGUE coffee table and two-volume ARENDAL side table. A taupe-toned colour scheme and layers of soft textures were then introduced to add to the welcoming vibe.

Zen Dining Space

Sometimes a concept evolves organically – such as this one. The space could have easily accommodated a large, rectangular table, but we wanted to create a more intimate setting, and so opted for the circular PINOT table. We then selected complementary pieces that also featured soft curves, including the FUJI dining armchair, RENNES ceiling lamp and HALONG rug, all arranged centrally within the space. Suggestions of colour and pattern were then incorporated to add interest.
